Travel From Belize City to your Resort in Style

Getting to Belize is easy and transportation in Belize doesn’t have to be stressful, long, or boring. Belize City International Airport is a short non-stop flight away from many cities in the United States, Canada, and throughout Central America. See more information HERE. We offer two fun and exciting ways to get to your Muy’Ono Resort: the Muy’Ono Explorer and a commuter flight.

When booking your international flight, please be aware of your landing time. For the Muy’Ono Explorer, we recommend arriving to Belize City no later than 12:30 pm as the Muy’Ono Explorer departs at 2:00 pm. For commuter flights, we recommend arriving to Belize City no later than 3:45 pm, as the last flight departs at 5:00 pm.

Choose The Style That Suits You

Option 1: The Muy’Ono Explorer

With the Muy’Ono Explorer, you’ll enjoy a relaxing drive down picturesque highways to your resort. This 14-passenger tour van is available to all guests staying in Dangriga or Hopkins. You’ll be greeted by the Explorer Captain at the Belize International Airport. Your transportation exploration will start with an introduction to Belizean history and its cultures. The experienced tour guide will offer his suggestions on the best activities in the country and will be happy to answer any questions you may have while you travel to your destination. Your adventure will include a stop for local refreshments and dining at Green Hill Bar and Grill and a drive down the picturesque Hummingbird Highway before arriving at your resort.

Amenities: 14 cushioned passenger seats, welcome drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), air conditioning, luggage storage, bathroom & refreshment break 

Destinations:

  • Thatch Caye – 2 hour travel time
  • Hopkins Bay – 3 hours travel time.

Guests should arrive at the Belize International Airport by 12:30pm. The van will depart at about 2:00pm. The cost starts off at $75 USD per person each way, considerably less expensive than other transportation options and much more fun. Option 2: Commuter Flight

Once arriving to Belize International Airport (BZE), guests can take a short commuter flight to their resort destination. By booking your flight through Muy’Ono Resorts, you get complimentary flight changes coordinated by your reservationist. If your international flight is running late or rescheduled, just let us know and we’ll handle all of the commuter flight changes for you! 

Flight prices vary by destination:

Dangriga – 15 minute, $205 US per person, round trip flight 

Hopkins – 45 minutes, $295 US per person, round trip flight + transfer to resort 

Punta Gorda – 1 hour, $438 US per person, round trip flight
